In a recent press release, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has announced the extension of its wireless broadband EVO service to 100 major cities in Pakistan. EVO is a 3G wireless technology that can give a download speed of up to 3.1 Mbps and 300 – 500 kbps on average .

PTCL claims to cover 100 major cities of Pakistan for its EVO service including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Hyderabad, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Muzzafarabad, Rawalakot, Mirpur, Okara, Sargodha, Sialkot, Multan and Faisalabad, alongside other small towns and cities across Pakistan. SEVP Commercial Naveed Saeed said “EVO’s launch in 100 cities reflects PTCL’s commitment to connect its customers to the world and provide the best telecom services at their doorsteps.

    i have used it the download speed is 60-70kbps.its not gud,even when the signals are full.

    @Nightmare: I think what you are assuming is 60-70 KB/sec which corresponds to 480-560 kbps.
