Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is organizing a seminar with the alliance of HUAWEI on 2nd August, 2010 in Karachi to instruct the stakeholders on importance of 3G technology. The seminar would emphasize various aspects of 3G Mobile Broadband services and 3G spectrum auctions in Pakistan.
The subject of seminar is “Demand for 3G and beyond”. Secretary IT, Naguibullah Malik, would be the chief guest on this occasion. IT & telecom industry experts, CEOs of telecom companies, representatives of chamber of commerce and media men will also attend the event.
3G networks can act as segue to proliferation of broadband in Pakistan. 3G Mobile Broadband will ensure availability of a number of data demanding value added services such as real-time access to medical records, on demand TV, e-education, cloud computing, video calls, real-time weather forecasts, advisory for farmers etc. The list is limit less and depends on the ingenuity of users and the professionals who can design and implement value added service.
